BCS Tiller - Perfect for Spring Gardening
Two weeks of dry weather in California and at last there were places in the garden dry enough to till. I love my BCS tiller. I brought it out of the tool shed, sprayed some starter fluid in the carburetor and with one pull of the starter rope, it ran! This machine is 10 years old and I have never had to do anything to it but change the oil. It knocks green corn stalks over in one pass and chops them up in another. It tills up cover crops and leaves the ground ready for planting in 2 or 3 passes. It does get bound up on occasion but not as much as other tillers. It comes with attachments for snow blowing, ditching and chipping. My tiller is the 720, now replaced by the 722. If you have a big garden or heavy clay soil, it's the machine to use. Wouldn't garden without it.
